Greece is a bold study of colour and form, inspired by the unmistakable blue of the Aegean and the quiet simplicity of Mediterranean architecture.
 
At the centre of the composition, a deep blue organic form sits against a softly textured neutral ground. The contrast is intentionally simple yet striking, recalling the meeting of intense blue sea and sun-washed stone found throughout the Greek islands.
 
Subtle variations within the surface soften the graphic composition, giving the piece a tactile, hand-worked quality. As light moves across the canvas, its texture becomes increasingly visible, creating depth within an otherwise restrained and minimal work.
 
Confident yet uncomplicated, Greece introduces a strong point of colour into an interior while retaining the calm, architectural character of the wider collection. It works particularly beautifully against plaster, limestone, oak and warm neutral surroundings.

Solid Oak Frame options
Framed works are finished in a substantial handmade solid oak frame, individually constructed in our studio from solid, natural oak. Each frame is made and finished by hand to complement the scale and quality of the artwork.
 
Choose from Natural Raw Oak or Dark Oak.
 
Please allow approximately 4–6 weeks for your artwork to be created, framed where selected, and prepared for dispatch.
 
Delivery is calculated according to the size of the artwork and destination.
