Created in warm ivory and chalky off-white tones, the restrained palette allows the surface of the artwork to become its defining feature.
 
Generous layers of mixed media are worked by hand across the canvas, forming raised edges, elongated markings and softly irregular surfaces. A subtle horizontal division runs through the composition, bringing structure and balance to the piece while retaining its organic character.
 
The depth of the surface allows Layered to interact beautifully with its surroundings. As natural light changes throughout the day, delicate shadows form across the raised areas of the canvas, revealing new details and giving the artwork an almost architectural quality.
 
Its understated palette makes it particularly suited to interiors incorporating natural materials such as oak, limestone, travertine, linen and limewashed plaster, while the sculptural texture gives the piece enough presence to hold its own within larger spaces.

Each artwork is individually created by hand. Due to the nature of the process, subtle variations in texture, markings and finish will occur, making every piece unique.

Handmade Solid Oak Frame
Framed works are finished in a substantial handmade solid oak frame, individually constructed and finished to complement the scale and character of the artwork.
 
Choose from Oak or Dark Oak.
 
Your artwork will arrive framed and ready to hang.
 
Please allow approximately 4–6 weeks for your artwork to be created, framed and prepared for dispatch.
 
Delivery is calculated according to the size of the artwork and destination.
